A bomb exploded on a crossing bride on Erbil’s 60 Meter street near to Kurdistan parliament, no causality reported according to security forces statement.
Kurdish security forces said that intensive Investigations will continue. Earlier, Kurdish social media pages reported that a loud noise was heard on a bridge crossing the 60-meter street in Erbil on Friday evening and caused some damage to the bridge, but no citizens and vehicles were damaged.
According to videos sent to Kurdaily, people who were at the scene said they heard a loud noise, but no damage was caused to the pillars and roads of the bridge and only some of the advertisements and several pieces of the bridge fell. An anonymous source told Kurdaily that the blast seems to be terrorist attack. This is the first explosion in Erbil, since 2015’s explosions in Ankawa district.
